"Fourth of July"

"One of my favorite Holidays is the 4th of July!  My family and I have participated each year in the friendly small town events, from the beginning to the conclusion of the day, including the greatly anticipated fireworks display.  This year as we celebrated, I was reminded that this was the last year of this century.  As the train passed by, my thoughts went to all of the changes our country has seen in the past 100 years.  The train is a symbol of continuity, bridging the past to the new millennium!"
