"Quiet Winter"

"Growing up on a Montana cattle ranch, I enjoyed the close times with my father as we hunted for elk.  These dyas, I prefer to paint wild animals in their natural habitat.  As you look at this painting, imagine the sound of the river as the elk walk silently across the snowy landscape.  The sun tries to break through the gray afternoon sky and shine upon this cold winter landscape."
