"Spring Snow"

"This View of Pikes Peak can be found in the heart of Colorado Springs!  I walked for two hours and saw only one biker, as I gathered my material for this painting.  I took photos and did several black and white pencil sketches on my journey through scrub oak and ponderosa pine.  Spring is trying to break forth, but winter's hand is still upon the landscape."
