"When Saddles Creak"

"I have been in the saddle on those bright, crisp winter mornings when the silence is broken by the sounds of horse and rider - the snorting of the horse and the creaking of the cold leather saddle as the two move slowly across the snow-covered pasture.  My personal memories of this particular subject take me back to my younger days on the cattle ranch in Montana."
