"Winter Lace"

The magical touch of sunlight on heavy frost, creating the illusion of white lace on everything it touches, is the theme of this Colorado scene.  This is typical of many areas in the west, where some ranchers still, by means of horses and a sleigh, haul hay to feed their cattle out in the snow-covered pasture.
